Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, errors, or discrepancies against packing lists.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Accurately update inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logging equipment usage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (CFE) is highly preferred; if not held, certification can be obtained during orientation.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
