Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload pallets, boxes, and other cargo from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all items meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by following 5S principles.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No previous warehouse experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy in inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production goals.
