Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Accurately receive incoming freight, verify quantities, and inspect for damage or discrepancies against shipping documents.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock organization using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Shipping Support: Assist in loading outbound trucks and verifying shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
