Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move stock with precision and care.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and manage stock replenishment in walk-in freezers and coolers.
- Load and unload shipping containers and freight trucks efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Monitor and log temperature data to ensure the integrity of temperature-sensitive inventory.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for distribution.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and capable of working in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
