Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move products safely
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled warehouse zones
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning technology provided by the company
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols while handling diverse materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months material handling experience with powered equipment
- Valid forklift certification (company will provide retraining if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail in inventory control processes
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
