Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage to goods.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders while maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to 5S principles and safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before processing shipments and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Material Handling: Perform physical tasks such as moving boxes, stacking pallets, and organizing stockrooms efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details and follow instructions precisely to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
