Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of warehouse associates to meet daily productivity goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory levels through cycle counts and audits, resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods.
- Train new employees on equipment usage (forklifts, pallet jacks) and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
