Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline packing and shipping processes.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
