Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to move materials and stock products.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Load Preparation: Secure pallets, apply labels, and load trucks efficiently to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Licensure: Possession of a valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate a busy warehouse environment.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
