Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily stock counts, cycle counts, and ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy to meet delivery deadlines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including shipping manifests and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a major plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions (if applicable to dock work).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
