We prioritize safety and operational excellence. As a Forklift Operator at MetroWare, you will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including Reach Trucks and Order Pickers.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers in a timely manner to maintain delivery schedules.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes during night operations.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) or CDL Class B with tank endorsement.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
