In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and accurately to meet rigorous customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities against bills of lading and performing quality checks.
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves and in bins to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory levels in real-time.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred but training available).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
