Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and entering data into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Organize stock in designated areas to ensure maximum efficiency and easy retrieval for team members.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator is preferred.
- Certified Forklift Operator license (if required by state regulations).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicles).
