Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from customer loading docks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and correct documentation; report discrepancies immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist in inventory counts, stock rotation, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and record inventory movements accurately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required (we provide training).
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Reliable transportation to the Chicago facility.
