Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Inventory Control: Verify and inspect incoming materials against invoices for accuracy and report any damages immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Tracking: Perform accurate cycle counts and inventory management tasks using RF scanners and WMS systems.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment in accordance with strict shipping guidelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Training: Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire (certification provided).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Mindset: Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
