Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and move materials to and from designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels against system data.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly pack, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring all packaging standards are met.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck) safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure they meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; attention to detail is essential.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hire.
