Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trailers and conveyors.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Equipment: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus, but we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
