Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, locate, and stock merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure efficient workflow.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and preparing orders.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand work instructions and communicate effectively with team leads.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work varying shifts including overtime.
