Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, sort, and store products to maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Shipping and Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and prepare outgoing orders for delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles organized and free of hazards to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and digital logs for inventory transactions.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software or scanners.
- Certification: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a significant plus.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
