Job Overview:
The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and management of goods within our distribution center. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain remains seamless and our customers receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain warehouse aisles to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to update inventory counts.
- Package and label products according to shipping guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in logistics preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
