Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move products and materials to and from storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, count stock, and reconcile discrepancies with accuracy.
- Packing & Labeling: Package items securely for shipment and apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
