Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors efficiently.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare pallets for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, wrapping, and stacking.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding daily priorities and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable (training available).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory management.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
