Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and ensure accurate inventory records in our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping and receiving documents and log material movements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read labels and barcodes accurately.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work overtime as needed.
