Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. Your primary focus will be ensuring our inventory flows smoothly from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments: Safely handle goods using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and place stock in designated storage areas.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts.
- Safety Mindset: A commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
