Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers using proper equipment.
- Operate Machinery: Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (all provided) to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock verification to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare and package products securely for domestic and international shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse or logistics preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn forklift operation quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
