Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Control: Verify and count items received against purchase orders or invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Packaging & Shipping: Pack, seal, and label products securely for domestic and international shipment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- System Management: Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to track inventory levels and status.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (Sit-down) is highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification within 30 days is required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software quickly.
