Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damage before processing.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Material Movement: Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move stock safely within the warehouse.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and stage orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reporting: Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies or maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10 preferred) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with barcode scanners or RF equipment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
