Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and update inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare and package orders accurately for shipment, ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines and safety standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping labels, receiving logs, and other required paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus; training provided for the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand safety procedures.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
