The Role:
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. We provide all necessary equipment, so you can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Perform inventory counts and verify stock accuracy against records.
- Package and label products for shipment, ensuring proper handling protocols are followed.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the packing process to meet daily production targets.
- Report damaged goods or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
