Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, locate, and stock materials.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receiving and Shipping: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify counts against purchase orders, and process outbound orders for timely delivery.
- Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear and organized to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maximize workflow efficiency.
- Quality Control: Ensure all items are properly tagged, labeled, and stored according to company protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven warehouse floors.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail are essential.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
