Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and completeness, documenting any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Organize, stack, and label pallets according to company safety and storage guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
