Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and store materials, products, and merchandise within the facility safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to transport goods.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and counting stock, verifying quantities against invoices, and identifying any discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including logs and inventory reports, with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform heavy manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read and comprehend safety instructions and order tickets.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
