Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload materials from trucks and conveyors using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy and complete orders.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label products to meet customer specifications and shipping standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and warehouse machinery in compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including inventory logs and delivery notes, with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; training is available for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and perform repetitive motions.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
