Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and material handling equipment to safely move, locate, and relocate materials within the facility.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow, reduce downtime, and meet daily production targets.
- Report any damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety guidelines.
- Basic computer skills (typing and navigating software applications).
- Must be willing to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
