As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our products are moved efficiently and accurately through our facility.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using RF scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with inventory software.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
