Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and reach trucks, while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Package and crate products securely for shipment, ensuring they are ready for transport.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock organization to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus but not required.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs require.
