Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate receiving, stocking, and cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure stock levels meet operational demands.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors, reporting any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory logs, and daily activity reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.
