Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, store, and organize inventory within the warehouse using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Quality Control: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate records to ensure stock accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Freight Handling: Sort, palletize, and shrink-wrap products efficiently to prepare them for outbound delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on machinery and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable; training provided if no prior experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, night-shift availability if required by business needs.
