Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload trucks and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
- Operate material handling equipment with precision and care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable transportation to 450 Townsend Street location
