Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure compliance.
- Verify accuracy of inventory counts and maintain organized stockpiles according to FIFO principles.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless operational transitions and inventory continuity.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling carts, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
