Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of all forklifts and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory counts, ensuring accuracy through barcode scanning and manual checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures to minimize risk.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as directed by management.
- Collaborate with the night team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA/ProLogiTrain) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) consistently.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work overtime.
