Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and organize pallets, boxes, and merchandise with precision and speed.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure seamless workflow.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hazardous materials and lifting protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work hours and inventory.
