Job Summary
We are looking for safety-conscious individuals who excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory, maintaining a pristine facility, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklift, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and document all movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Certified forklift operator with a valid license or certification (We will assist with certification if necessary).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
