Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock areas.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety protocols and accident prevention.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
