What You Will Do:
- Operational Excellence: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily throughput targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently throughout the distribution center.
- Load and unload freight trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately process inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet nightly production goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a consistent schedule.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret safety charts and labels.
- Valid Driver's License (Class D) is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills for logging work and inventory.
