Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and document stock movements using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by stacking and arranging products efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately to meet customer delivery deadlines during the busy night shift.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class I, II, or III) and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
