Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working order and report any issues immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory accurately to maintain optimal warehouse flow and order accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to process orders and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B not required but preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory data.
