Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers following safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Stack pallets and organize inventory in designated storage areas to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Basic reading and writing skills for log entry and safety documentation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred).
