Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (including Reach Trucks and Order Pickers) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all loading docks are secured and maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work effectively during the night shift and maintain high energy levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
