Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and free of damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to verify mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (CPS or equivalent).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
